Studio Jux

Studio Jux wurde von Jitske Lundgren 2008 in Amsterdam gegründet und sticht als ein Pionier des jungen, frischen Styles von nachhaltigen Labels hervor. Minimalistische Designs, ausgewählte Materialien und coole Farben sind die eine Seite des Labels. Auf der anderen Seite steht das vorbildliche Engagement für Nachhaltigkeit in der Modeindustrie. So setzt man bei Studio Jux auf Bio-Baumwolle Hanf und Leinen, genauso wie auf neue, innovative Materialien wie vegane Seide, Mischfasern aus Hanf und recycelten PET-Flaschen. Dazu wird Wert auf faire Produktion gelegt. Die Produktion in der eigenen Fabrik in Nepal ist nach der Clean&Unique Association und der Fair Wear Foundation zertifiziert. Das Unternehmen bemüht sich um das Thema Living Wages genauso wie um die Maximierung des sozioökonomischen Profits vor Ort in den Produktionsländern. Darüberhinaus arbeitet Studio Jux mit Terres des Hommes zusammen um die Menschen vor Ort zu Themen wie Lesen, Schreiben, Hygiene und vielen grundlegenden Themen auszubilden. So gelingt es Studio Jux mit einem Mix aus coolem Design, nachhaltiger Produktion und vorbildlichem Engagement ein Pionier für die nachhaltige Mode zu sein. Studio Jux was founded by Jitske Lundgren in Amsterdam in 2008 and stands out as a pioneer of the young, fresh style of sustainable labels. Minimalist designs, selected materials and cool colours are one side of the label. On the other side is the exemplary commitment to sustainability in the fashion industry. Studio Jux uses organic cotton, hemp and linen, as well as new, innovative materials such as vegan silk and mixed fibres made from hemp and recycled PET bottles. In addition, value is placed on fair production. Production in the company's own factory in Nepal is certified by the Clean&Unique Association and the Fair Wear Foundation. The company is as concerned with the issue of living wages as it is with maximising socio-economic profit locally in the production countries. In addition, Studio Jux works with Terres des Hommes to educate local people on topics such as reading, writing, hygiene and many basic issues. In this way, Studio Jux succeeds in being a pioneer for sustainable fashion with a mix of cool design, sustainable production and exemplary commitment.
